Hi and welcome to Solium Infernum, the strategy videogame from Hell.
We, League of Geeks Pty Ltd, are based in Australia, we are the IP holder, Publisher and Developer of Solium Infernum. We welcome you and thank you for entering hell and coming along for this devilish game of intrigue in Solium Infernum. This is Solium Infernum’s End User License Agreement and the following paragraphs are important, we’ve tried to keep it to a minimum.
We invite you to play Solium Infernum and engage with our online community through our various platforms and partner platforms. We want you to enjoy countless hours playing Solium Infernum, a game we’ve spent years pouring our love into. We ask that you always remain a friendly and respectful player when interacting with others in the community, our development and publishing team.
When you play Solium Infernum we create an online account for you. We do this so we can support your play experience with our online features such as bug reporting, crash reporting, and gameplay telemetry tracking for tracking game balance. These online features help us diagnose problems and make Solium Infernum better. We also use this online account to manage and operate multiplayer game sessions. We never track personal information or any information that’s not relevant to the performance of Solium Infernum. You can opt-out of having an online account using the in-game settings, this will set the game into a silent running mode where it will only receive information online and not send any packets back to us. With respect to international data collection and privacy laws, if you are considered a child in your region, you must opt-out of data collection. A Child in most regions is someone younger than 13 years old, if in doubt, you should be over the age of 16 years old. We cannot collect your personal data, if you are considered a child. This is a legal requirement, not our own invention. You can play Solium Infernum without an online account, cloud saves and any other platform specific features will continue to work such as achievements and automatic updates.
If you have opt’d-in and agreed to play in online mode, the types of data we collect while you play are relevant to gameplay analytics, we use this data to find bugs, crashes, game in-balance, frequency of bugs in different regions (by country) and the type of hardware, operating system and other relevant system settings such as available memory, processor type and graphics card so we can isolate where and why these bugs might appear. We may store this data throughout the life of Solium Infernum to help us compare the performance of features over time and we may also delete or reset this data at any time. We will make the data anonymous as soon as possible and only store it as long as it's useful and needed. Only those team members within League of Geeks who need access to this data will have access. We use a number of third party tools and services to analyze this data and respond to player support requests. Some of the third party cloud services we use are Steam partner services, Sentry, PlayFab, Microsoft Azure, Mailchimp, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Discord and Google services.
We don’t collect personal data to sell or share to third parties for any reason, including marketing reasons. We may from time to time contact you using the email address subscribed to our Solium Infernum newsletter with significant news and any essential communications services, relating to game status and content.
We take your personal data very seriously and want you to know that there is always a chance online that your personal data could be compromised or intercepted. If you think this has happened to you, with respect to Solium Infernum, you should get in contact with us immediately.
