PRIVACY POLICY

This document explains how we gather and use your data in The Majesty of Colors.

GATHERING PLAYER DATA

We collect typical non-personally-identifying data about players so that we can understand how our games are being used. This includes your operating system, a guess of what country you're in, and the datetime of each play session.

We collect further details in the case of a crash or other exception in our games via the third-party service Sentry. This may include information about what you were doing when the error occurred, and rarely may include some information about the configuration of your device. An automated system deletes any clearly-sensitive information (such as passwords or credit card numbers) before it becomes accessible to us.

We might publish this information in aggregate from time to time, but never in a way that you can be identified. For example, we might make a blog post about what percent of our players are in Europe.

We also record players' IP addresses, but we don't use them to identify you. We never disclose this information except as described below.

PROTECTION OF PERSONALLY-IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

We'll never give anyone your information for money.

If we feel in good faith that we're legally required to turn over your information, for example as part of a criminal investigation, we'll do so.

We may provide limited information to third-parties we trust, but only for the purpose of protecting you or ourselves; for example, we may provide information to our hosting provider to prove that you've asked for services we're giving you.

Otherwise we'll take all reasonable measures to protect and keep private your information.

We'll erase your personal information if you ask us to. Please write to request erasure; we'll reply within a month.

PRIVACY POLICY CHANGES

We might update this policy from time to time, usually only to make it clearer or provide you with more protections. These changes will usually be minor and will be at our discretion.

If we make any major policy changes that affect you, we'll make a good-faith effort to let you know and give you a chance to protect yourself. Still, we recommend you check this policy periodically if that's something you're concerned about.
