About This Game

As an interstellar cargo smuggler, or "Space Slug," you see opportunity where others see a desolate graveyard. Complete increasingly difficult contracts, and sell everything you can get your hands on. Master the tools of the trade and use the physics of space to your advantage. Cooperate with up to three friends to become cosmic legends, or strike out on your own as a Solo Slug.

Remember: Survival is optional, profit is mandatory.

ASSEMBLE YOUR CREW

  • Go it alone, or bring up to 3 of your friends to form a smuggling crew of the most dangerous and desperate beings in the galaxy.

  • Choose from a near infinite number of procedurally generated looks and names. At least you'll leave a pretty corpse.

  • Watch each other's backs to survive, and if that fails, absorb the dead bodies of your crew to gain additional respawns.

TAKE ON CONTRACTS

  • Completing dangerous and illicit contracts is all part of the daily life of a Space Slug. But choose carefully, or you'll end up as another cosmic corpse.

  • Transport illegal cargo, scavenge battlefields, rescue the desperate, steal rare artifacts, and kidnap valuable creatures.

  • Choose between procedurally generated contracts. Do you take the dangerous mission with a more reliable ship? Or take a safer one with a ship that barely stays together? Do you take an immoral contract with a high payout? These choices will become second nature as you grow to be an expert Space Slug.

  • Decide when the risk to reward is too high and retire with your credits, hoping to join the high score board of immortality.

MAINTAIN YOUR SHIP

  • The coffins that Space Slugs call ships are unreliable at best, and self sabotaging at worst. Restart broken ship systems such as lights, blast doors, artificial gravity generators, and more when they inevitably fail.

  • Make repairs to walls, cargo, engines, or even your crewmates as you struggle to keep it together long enough to complete the contract.

  • Decide the right combination of pressurized and depressurized chambers to best maintain and protect your ship and cargo.

SURVIVE THE HORROR

  • Investigate derelict craft and passing planetoids to find rare cargo, but beware the dangers lurking within.

  • Space is full of all kinds of trash and treasures. Sometimes the best cargo is what you find along the way! Take a perilous spacewalk and see if you can't reel some of it in.

  • Get used to seeing and handling corpses. Their biomatter can be used to refill your respawn platform. Even the biomatter of your dead friends will help bring them back and ready to fight again.

DELIVER THE CARGO

  • If you manage to get cargo safely to your destination, you'll need to unload it onto the cargo platform while still warding off possible dangers.

  • Repair your ship as much as possible to minimize your ship damage penalty.

  • Once the mission is over, look for new contracts to expand your smuggling legend.

KILL YOUR FRIENDS

  • Battle against others in fully customizable deathmatch and capture the cargo modes.

  • Use the environment to your advantage to burn, suffocate, explode, and outsmart your friends.

  • Duel with your energy blades to decide the ultimate swordsman.
