We're committed to delivering a holistic and feature-rich experience that lives up to our vision, and that takes time. While we're avoiding setting rigid timelines, we're determined to ensure that every aspect of the game aligns with our standards before moving on from the Early Access phase.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will feature an intricate storyline inspired by a teenager's emotions, adding depth to the paintball action.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In early stages, we're gearing up to offer Founder and Alpha Access packs for a more stable experience, even with a small initial community.

Currently, we find ourselves at the threshold of an exhilarating journey. The initial stage of the early access release is just the beginning, and we're gearing up to provide players with even more opportunities to immerse themselves in the world of Paint Royale. Soon, Founder Packs and Alpha Access packs will be available, offering enthusiasts the chance to engage with a more stable early access build. While the community might be modest in size during these nascent stages, we're enhancing the experience with AI bots that convincingly emulate the playstyles of real users, ensuring that every match is a source of excitement and challenge.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Early access is free, but as Paint Royale grows, the price will rise to support development and sustain quality.

Our pricing model is set to evolve as well. During the early access phase, players can jump in for free – a gesture of gratitude for their support as we lay the groundwork. However, as Paint Royale matures and flourishes, the price will incrementally rise. This shift reflects our commitment to rewarding the ongoing dedication of our developers and sustaining the high-quality experience players deserve.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We invite the community to propose features and later use a mod editor for balanced mods in public matchmaking, fostering creative collaboration.
