Why Early Access?

“This is a game created entirely by 1 person, releasing in Early Access will allow me to build a small community that can provide testing and feedback.
GOPOGO is my first multiplayer game too and that has me a little nervous as I know there will be issues, Early Access will help set expectations correctly so that I can work to fix any issues before releasing the game fully.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“3-6 months. Maybe less if all goes well.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access build has 9 levels, the fullly released version will include 12+ levels, new gamemodes, procedurally generated endless levels, some more narrative elements and characters, more cosmetic items and much more.

The main mechanic of the game is complete and so the intention of EA is just to add more polish, content and replayability. After leaving EA I plan to continue adding new levels / map packs occasionally.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access build has 9 levels that can be played online or offline.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to gradually raise the price after major updates or upon the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I intend to work closely with players through Steam and the Community Discord Server to address any issues or reasonable feedback. Although I have a pretty solid vision for the final version, I am excited to see what ideas people have for the game.”

In GOPOGO, you are a small frog in a big pond, and there are great challenges ahead of you. You must become one with the pogostick, you will need to aim and time your jumps with great skill if you want to make it to the finish.

Race against the clock and perfect your times in each level OR hop into a chaotic multiplayer race against your friends.
