What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The idea for this game came in 2017 while traveling by car across the country. A year later, I made the first working release for the mobile platform. Even then, I wanted to create a PC version. Early Access will help me build a game based on ideas and suggestions from the community.

I make the game entirely on my own and I believe that by listening to the community, you can create a game that will be played by millions!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Tough question, but I'm sure the game will come out of Early Access as soon as ideas run out. And now there are a lot of ideas! But presumably the game will come out of Early Access around 2022.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I am planning to add:
• More weapons
• Ground and air equipment
• Calling artillery strikes
• More a wide variety of game modes
• Sniper rifle (with unusual mechanics)
• Automatic turrets
• Mines
• Achievements”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the moment, it is already possible to create a server both on the local network and on the Internet. You can only connect to the game through your friends list, but this is temporary.

There are already 6 guns, one of them is a minigun. And the other is a rocket launcher.
There is only one game mode - "Confrontation". In that mode, the red dots fight against the blue ones. One round is limited only by the number of points earned by one team. At the end of the round, you can see the list of players and find out who scored the most points.

Then the next round begins. And so on to infinity...”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will rise, but it will be by the time the full version of the game is released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I have a Discord channel. There you can share your ideas, discuss problems, and vote for the introduction of some new functionality into the game. It is thanks to this channel that the community will be able to influence the development of this game.

There is also a Twitter channel, where fresh screenshots and gifs about the progress of the game's development will be published.”

About This Game

DotStrike is a 3D online shooter in which alien invaders in the form of colored spheres fight each other in a seaport.

At the moment, two game modes are fully implemented: "Team Confrontation" and "Confrontation".

In the "Team Confrontation" mode, players are divided into two teams: red and blue. The goal of each side is to score a given number of points faster than the rest of the team.

In the "Confrontation" mode, each player is for himself. The strongest alien will win this fight.

The plot of the game

All weapons have infinite ammo. This is all thanks to the alien technology of instant cartridge fabrication. For example, in an RPG, after a shot, a rocket grows in the muzzle of a grenade launcher.

But the aliens are not fighting alone. In addition to them, there is another side. It's called "Unknown Power". Humans didn't just watch the alien conflict. From time to time, a bomber rises into the air and drops bombs on the warring aliens. In addition to people, there are natural disasters that also did not stand aside. This is a suddenly rising magma or a tornado that sucks everything in its path.

From the nearest plans to add game modes: "Zombies", "2122", "Serious Ball". As well as new guns, including alien ones.
