Why Early Access?

“This application is in Early Access because it does not have all features we plan to have in a final version. Releasing the Early Access version of the application will allow for our team to take in feedback and add changes dynamically before releasing what would be considered the Final Product. The features added in the Final Product can be expanded beyond the current plans based on user feedback and experience during the Early Access version of the game. In the future, you can expect improved visuals, more strategic and aesthetic customization, and more ways to play. Additionally, our team will do our best to research and implement a non-local multiplayer option.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The earliest possible date to be out of Early Access is May 2022.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“From the current version, we plan to improve the visuals and mechanics, as well as add new content, such as cards and shapes. Features such as cards and shapes can change drastically based on what the team feels should be added after reviewing user feedback. This connection to feedback of Early Access players users will allow our team to decide on creating new features and adding more focus to favorably received features. Through this, the team can allocate resources appropriately to maximize player satisfaction before taking the version to its Final Stage.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of the game is fully playable with customization and multiplayer features present. Players can play the tutorial to get a better grasp of features and content in this game. You can create, load, save, and delete hands, which are a set of 6 cards. Cards are effects that a player can use to gain an advantage in the game, each coming with configurations, such as passives and turn of activation. You can change the appearance of your shape. Finally, you can play with someone else on the same computer. After completing games, players earn currency which can be used to purchase new cards.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“This game and the final version will be free to play. The team has no plans to change this pricing in the future. A planned feature of the game will allow players to spend real money to gain currency in this game, as well as unlock special shapes and all current and future cards.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Feedback the Community gives will be a great help to this game's development and essential to determining how the team should move forward with certain features of the game. Changes to visuals, effects, cards, and customization can be reviewed by the team. The Community will be a great guide to how the team should move forward in terms of game development and features, with communication with the players being a key factor into maximizing the enjoyability of the game.”
