What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“As solo dev, time to get feedback is helpful in fixing bugs, implementing quality of life updates, and prioritizing additional features that are decided to be needed for the game experience based on user feedback. Features yet to be developed should not be necessary in completing a full playthrough”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Estimated less than a year (target is a few months from early access release)”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“A linear main storyline will be playable in the early access build. Players will be able to unlock and go through every area to complete the main game's goal and content.

Battling, collecting/taming, and systems related to improving you pet's status and abilities are in the game, although some minor tweaking may happen with balance based on testing results.
In addition all the systems related to basic crafting, artifact creation, pet training, and NPC interactions (shops, story conversations, etc.) are in-game but may also undergo balancing or changes in chronological order if needed throughout the early access period.
Autobattle system is playable in early access, including an option to turn it off. Pets are able to earn experience and gain skills through dungeons and participating in the arena. Level progression is also implemented up to the highest level.

Release Version

Post early access, quality of life related updates and bug fixes are meant to be assessed and completed. Additional creatures, fixtures, decorations, and assets are also planned to be added for the release version
In addition, feedback will helpful in prioritizing features that may be deemed needed for a more enjoyable and more complete experience. However. these features will likely be side-quest related and should not be necessary for completing a full playthrough.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“A linear main storyline will be playable in the early access build. Players will be able to unlock and go through every area meant to be included in release. Polish in needed areas will also be worked on”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game is planned to have a slight increase in price out of early access”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Playtest builds (apart from the full game) will be available throughout the early access period. The feedback and bug reports through the forum will be monitored very closely and the most important issues will be prioritized when it comes to development.

Analytics are also being tracked for crashes and progression blockers. An external webpage for submitting screenshots and more detailed bug reports may also possibly be used. I plan to respond quickly to any comment or error encountered as I've done in previous released titles.”

About This Game

A pet-collecting battle game with light RPG mechanics. Enter dungeons and fight creatures, tame pets, and collect items along the way. Raise your rank and collect prizes in the arena to unlock new areas

Enter Dungeons

Select the path you want to take in a dungeon by choosing which room to enter. Some rooms have obstacles, treasure, travelling merchants, fields, and more.
In battle rooms, fight creatures using an autobattling system or use your pets' skills in real time. Encounter treasure rooms where you can collect loot: money, gems, or items to aid in your travels. Come across obstacle rooms that test your pets' stat points, and possibly get some useful perks when they succeed. Special rooms may also come up with healing fountains, traders that have discounted items, or gamblers inviting you to a minigame.

Train Your Pets

Use the training room to increase your pets' stat points. You can also use the clinic to recover their HP if they are injured. Participate in the arena to gain experience and rank up to enter new areas, or go for prize competitions that offer cash and items! As pets gain experience through dungeons and arena participation, they gain new skills that you can choose for them to use. Elemental pets can have special elemental skills that can prove useful for higher level dungeons!

Specialized Pets

Your pets can die T_T But you can use the Laboratory to temporarily freeze or even merge them with other pets!
The Laboratory is also the place to create artifacts. Artifacts can select specific parts of pets and save these characteristics for you to use on existing pets.
For example, you can take the highest stat of a dying pet and convert it into an artifact, and then transfer that stat point into a new pet to immediately get it to a higher level. You can also transfer over skills, passives, and even the breed or element of a pet!

Create Stuff

Own a home, and purchase fixtures for it! You can use cooking fixtures to create boosting food items, or purchase a workbench to create items like nets used for taming.
Collect crafting materials from monster drops and level up in the arena to obtain stronger items that you can craft. If you have extra coin, decorate your home with some new wallpaper or flooring!
