Why Early Access?

“It takes a lot of work and effort to create a game like this, especially for a small indie group like us. We are trying to create a unique twist on the roguelike genre, and we believe Early Access is the perfect way to get players who are interested in the design concept of Alchemia to help us shape this experience to be the best game possible.

Whether wanting to support the development of the game, helping with feedback and suggestions, or just wanting to play the game before the full release, any player that wants to join us in this crucial part of Alchemia's development will be rewarded with a fun and deep strategic experience to play with.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to be in Early access until the end of 2022, releasing the game at the beginning of 2023.
This can change depending on how development is shaped by the community feedback and support we receive. Our biggest priority is quality and we won't make a 1.0 release until we think the game has reached the value we want it to have.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The biggest focus during Early Access is balance and bug-fixing, together with improving the User Experience and adding more QoL features.
This is then followed by the creation of more content, including more recipes, artifacts, enemies and several other features we have already discussed and would love to implement into the game as soon as possible. Again, we praise quality over quantity, especially since we believe the game already has a great amount of content so far. We plan on creating content that is actually interesting and deepens the gameplay experience, instead of just bloating it with filler content.
Finally, we are constantly trying to polish all aspects of the game. We'll be improving graphics, music and any other aspects we feel are necessary during development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the game is practically the complete experience we envisioned:

• Traverse all 3 regions of the game, filled with 35+ different enemies to battle against, including 3 unique bosses.
  
• 40+ recipes to discover and craft
  
• 30+ artifacts to loot and customize your build
  
• 15+ events to encounter
  
• And many more things to unlock in the meta-progression of the game

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We have plans to increase the price of the game after Early Access, but any decision on this matter might change based on how much more content we end up making for the game, among other factors during development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community opinion is extremely important to us. We are completely open to feedback, bug-reports and suggestions, and the best channels for this are our Discord Server (link on our store page) and Steam forums.”
