What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Currently I do my development work alongside my audience through social media and live streaming, early access continues that with the ability to gather more community feedback from players as the game is being developed.

as a solo developer my community is the best version of QA I could ask for, and by inviting more people into that community I can build Nosher into a richer experience for everyone.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“approximately 1 year, at the point the early access build becomes available I will have been making the game for a year already making total development time around 2 years+

however once early access is out I would like to feed new content into the game at regular intervals.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan for the full version of Nosher to contain multiple worlds to explore, each with a different themes, challenges, and bosses.

A fun story with cartoon-esque villains, and lore that may reveal things to be more than they seem?

A wide variety in gameplay owing to the variety of monsters to eat and transform into.

Modifiers and level badges for replay ability in every level.

and lots of secrets to find and collect.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The early access version is planned to contain the first "world" of Nosher, this includes a set of story levels, side levels, challenge levels, and a boss.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“the price will raise gradually as the amount of content present and playable increases.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I currently accept feedback of all kinds though social media, and my stream and have found that has been incredibly helpful as I worked on the game. I think the addition of the Steam forums, reviews, and other forms provided by this platform would prove just as helpful.”

About This Game

Get Inside the Animal!

Every stage in Nosher is a wondrous labyrinth of secrets waiting for you to discover. The only issue is poor Nosher can't reach the secrets.

Nosh on a bat, gain the ability to fly. Nosh on a skeleton, gain the ability to smash the big rock. Nosh on a spider, explore the verticle landscape of each stage. Nosher is a puzzle platformer that rewards you for exploring; whether that's with a hidden collectible to achieve a platinum score or a giant bat to make friends with.

Nosh on These Berries

Nother is built off the love for the golden age of puzzle platformers. Berries in Nosher are so much more than berries, they are life. Collecting them will not only provide a 'second chance' for Nosher, but they're also a key part of achieving a high score on each stage.

Platforming is More Than Just Collectibles

Collectibles are nice, but they're not everything. Every stage in Nosher offers four tiers for rewards; bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. To prove you're the best in noshing you'll need to combine stage knowledge, speedrunning, and some cheeky tactics to claim the top prize.
