Why Early Access?

“The choice to go Early Access is a strategic one, driven by our commitment to delivering an exceptional gaming experience while involving our passionate community in shaping the game's future. We’ve been working on the Events at Unity Farm since early 2020, and we’ve completed much of what we set out to create. But along the way, we discovered that there is more story to tell, more of the world to explore, and more features to unlock. We made the decision to enter Early Access to invite the community to experience the first part of an epic journey into the Multipocalypse Universe.

We want to create a dynamic, engaging, and collaborative development journey with our community. We’d love for you to play the game, for a nominal fee, and give us your feedback. We’re going to capture all sorts of data from your playthrough(s) and use it to improve the game. We're excited to embark on this adventure with you, and we can't wait to see how the game evolves with your input.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We understand that this is an important question for our dedicated player community, and we appreciate your patience as we chart our course forward. Based on our current roadmap we expect to be in Early Access until Q1 2025. What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version the Events at Unity Farm is brimming with exciting content, hours of story mode gameplay, a first look at a horde mode, and the promise of even more features and improvements on the horizon.

• Story Mode

This mode features three distinct spells - fire, electricity, and ice - each with its unique abilities and strategic possibilities. The inclusion of combo spell mechanics adds depth to the gameplay, allowing players to experiment with various spell combinations to overcome challenges.

The story mode itself is polished, providing players with a smooth and engaging narrative experience. Two main boss battles and two mini-boss encounters punctuate the storyline, offering exciting challenges for players to conquer as they progress through the game.
While the core gameplay elements are in excellent shape, we have introduced some beta mechanics, such as crafting and skill systems. These systems are still in development and will continue to evolve based on player feedback, ensuring they are both enjoyable and balanced.

• Arena (Horde) Mode

For those who seek a different kind of challenge, our Arena mode offers an adrenaline-pumping experience. It consists of one Act with five Waves of increasingly difficult enemies, and culminates in an epic boss battle. This mode adds replayability to the game, as players strive to achieve higher scores and better strategies in the face of relentless foes.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We understand that pricing can be an important factor in your gaming decisions, and we're here to provide clarity on our approach.

• Early Access Pricing: During the Early Access phase on Steam, the Events at Unity Farm will be available at a special discounted price as a token of appreciation for our early adopters and to reflect the game's ongoing development. We want to reward your support and dedication as you embark on this journey with us.

• Full Release Pricing: As we move towards the full release of the Events at Unity Farm, there will be a reevaluation of the game's pricing structure to reflect the expanded content, polished gameplay, and overall improvements resulting from the collaborative efforts of the development team and our dedicated community. The full release pricing will be moderately increased to align with the enhanced experience.

• Your Investment Matters: Rest assured, your investment in the Early Access version will carry over seamlessly to the full release.
