Why Early Access?

“We're still under construction here. Stadiums are still being constructed, pitchers are being recruited, game modes are being polished. The game in it's current form allows for complete playthroughs, but as time progresses it will offer the variety of a modern, polished roguelike. The game is playable but needs time to reach a completed version. We have goals beyond the current scope that need time, but we want to include the community in the game's growth and expansion.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It's expected to be completed by the end of 2023.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will include new features and gameplay modes. We have many ideas that we plan to integrate into the game, but time is needed to make those happen. We plan on implementing more stadiums and levels as well as ladder modes that add difficulty modifiers.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current game allows for full playthroughs at an optimized difficulty. It features five fully-voiced and unique characters, each with a trademark pitching style that'll leave you guessing.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will be only slightly increased upon full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We're always open to ideas. The development process has been aided by a tight-knit community and the game has already benefited from a bit of crowdsourcing of ideas.”
