By representing the real conflict events in an accurate and historical way, Glory To The Heroes is committed to serving educational, journalistic, and culture-sharing purposes.

Features

Large-scale simulative battles with squad-based, combined arms combat.
Matches are conducted to simulate the scale of actual war engagements, showcasing all main military units and their duties on the frontline.

Focus on unique features of Russian-Ukrainian warfare. This ongoing war became famous for Its WW2 trench-like warfare mixed with massive artillery utilization and the use of brand-new technologies such as UAVs and copters, not yet seen in such mix at the Theater of War, and represented in Glory to the Heroes.

Squad-Based, Combined Arms Combat: Players must work within their squads, to be effective on the battlefield and perform specifically assigned taks. Squads are made up of different roles that complement each other.

Role-Specific Duties: There are several roles to choose from, such as Assaulter, FPV-Operator, Artilleryman, Driver, or Rifleman, each with specific duties and equipment and fit for particular units and tasks.

Resource Micro-management: Some roles are designed to manage resources like mortars, ammo, and fuel which are used for various strategic actions including building fortifications, utilizing armor, or managing logistics between positions.

Unique narrative: In PvPvE battles, each map, or level, serves to tell a story about what happened here on this day and how the battle was waged. Like so, different maps featuring different units available for the player, different kinds of vehicles or their complete avoidance, and even different battle scenarios.

Constructible Defences and Destructible Environments: Players can all build defenses such as sandbags, fire-points, trenches, and anti-tank or anti-drone obstacles to strengthen positions, as well as setting up fire positions. Players can alter the battlefield by destroying or creating cover.

Immersive Vehicles and Weapon Handling: The game features immersive weapon behavior, including bullet drop, weapon malfunction, firearm physical behavior, and the need to manually manage ammunition. Real-world-like in-vehicle view with interiors and more.

Inventory System: A player character has a usable Inventory Widget for managing a wide variety of items, including ammunition, resources for construction, weapons, medical supplies, and consumable items. Inventory also serves as a display of the character’s stats: Damages, Exhaustion, Thirst, etc.

Weather and Time Dynamics: Real-time weather changes and day-night cycles.

Map and Intelligence Tools: Each role has a UI real-time tactical map, inspired by Ukrainian “Delta” and “Kropyva” tactical software. Players can use maps for navigating, placing custom waypoints, and measuring distances for artillery fire.

Immersive Health and Injury System: There's no regenerating of health. heavy Injuries must be treated by a Medic, light injuries could be treated by using a bandage or tourniquet, and severe injuries result in death. Different injuries require specific treatments, time, and tools.

Survival elements: Besides the need to keep your character healthy, the player could also be affected by different side effects such as Exhaustion, Thirst, Hands Exhaustion, etc. Each effect has a special way of treating using consumable items, same as the Health system

You are not a Rembo. Unlike many other shooter games, in Glory to the Heroes you play as a casual enlisted soldier, not a well-trained special forces operator, who could experience emotional damage during the battle, unexpectedly being hit a hidden landmine, or suddenly get KIA under an intense artillery strike.

Immersive Story Campaign. In the story campaign you will find "war stories" - episodes about specific people, each of whom has his own unique skills and who's been participating in specific historical events of the war. While the war continues, these stories are personal ones. They are about people, not battles.

Cinematic point of view. A vast, accurately recreated locations provides a rich and detailed gaming environment with spots that highlight both strategic and tactical tasks, as well as a high level of immersion and narrative elements. Game maps are designed to embrace both macro and micro worlds.

The game features actual real-world military regiments and groups, each related to a specific game map or events of the story campaign.
