“Full version will include improved UI/UX, automatically generated tournaments system, player leveling system, local matches and lobbies, game shop, training map, improved game guide.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Core game functionality and full scale battle mechanics are implemented. Players have access to Magic Lab, where they can create spells, skills, mages and sets, and save those to the Magic Book. Magic Book functionality is available to review, test & edit their collection.
Access to online matchmaking with auto opponent selection and BO5 battles.
All players' characters are set at Lvl 40 (out of 50) by default, with no records of achievements.
In-game Chat.

The game currently lacks character leveling, online tournament system, in game shop, advanced matchmaking and events.
Visual style is work-in-progress (character models, costumes, animations, VFX). No AFX present in the game at this point.

Updates to the Early Access will be released on a regular basis.”

3D online magic duel (PvP), with sandbox-like Magic Lab and real time non-target combat system. The game combines exciting mix of creating spells & skills in the Magic Lab and deep magic combat tactics.

UMBA is a one-of-a-kind game that allows players to create magic, as they like it, and no spell or skill is given from the outset.
The key object of the game is the magic not the mage. Magic interactions, transformations, damage and debuffs are cleverly designed and fun.
UMBA is about players using their imagination, creativity, skill and strategic thinking to stand out.

In UMBA every spell and skill is your own. Players define many functional settings by distributing available points. Number of spell points is based on player’s level.
UMBA is for players who appreciate well balanced, diverse, skill based PvP and extraordinary challenge.

Sandbox-like Magic Lab: freedom to create spells & skills. Currently there are 7 types of spells and 8 types of skills, with impressive number of functional settings.
Unique sets of spells & skills, limited only by player’s imagination.

Unique gameplay mechanics: player’s curiosity & skill on the battlefield is rewarded with superb spells and debuffs interactions & transformations. Spells’ interactions is the next level of game mechanics, resulting in a remarkable metamorphosis and creation of completely different spells during the battle. Same spells interact in different ways, whether they are your own or not, fully or partially intersect.

Alive self-developed meta: found a winning combination? See how long until others copy you or find better. Always searching for optimal strategy is at the heart of UMBA. Players must be flexible and use different strategies to win. It can be a mix of slow defensive approach, hit & run tactic or blitz-crieg style. Mix & match strategies or stick to your preferred one.
