What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Dino Run 2 is a massive undertaking and thrives on player feedback and community support. Early Access allows us to release the game before it's "complete", and hone it to prehistoric perfection over time.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate the game will be in Early Access for quite a long time, at least 2 years or more.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to develop multiple eras (Jurassic, Cretaceous, Paleolithic, etc), as well as a roster of 6-8 dinos to play as.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“When Early Access releases on Steam, it is planned to feature a single era to play in (Cretaceous), spanning multiple biomes, with 1 or 2 playable dino types available to use, as well as a multiplayer sandbox mode.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The monetization of the game has yet to be determined. We are currently leaning towards a small price to obtain the game, and DLC purchases to unlock new visual customizations. That being said, the prices for DLCs (and the amount of DLCs available) will probably change between early access and full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Through Steam and Discord forums - player feedback is critical, and community is key!”
