What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Creating and launching a new game for the collection typically spans one to two months. Early access offers players the chance to dive in now and return for fresh stories as they unfold. Your involvement at this stage enhances the game's development. We invite our community to be part of shaping this collection from the start. Your feedback is invaluable in the ongoing process of making this collection the best it can be!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“While we don't have a specific release date in mind, our game will stay in Early Access until we've crafted the best possible version. The Early Access journey concludes when all games have been released, and currently, the final count is undetermined. As we continue to introduce new ideas every one to two months, we anticipate the game will remain in Early Access for approximately one to two years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We aim to include 10 or more games, Steam achievements, and cloud saves in the completed version. The full release is expected to not only highlight these features but also potentially introduce additional quality-of-life improvements to enhance your overall gaming experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, there are six playable stories with another one in progress. More information about the features and gameplay are described in the 'About This' section. For a detailed overview of the game's current state, please refer to the information provided in that section.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of the game collection is going to increase as it becomes more feature rich and new stories are added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be taking feedback and suggestions from both the community here on Steam and across social media.”

About This Game

Welcome to Horror Nightmare Collection, a series of short, retro-style horror games that aim to spook you with unique experiences. Horror is simple at its core; you don't need fancy budgets or high-tech stuff. All it takes is a raw idea and the guts to make it happen.

Some games here focus on horror and tension. You'll face different stories, each pulling you into dark twists and forcing you to confront creepy creatures. This collection keeps growing, bringing more horror games with various gameplay styles and different stories. From messing with your mind in psychological horror to cringe-worthy grotesque body horror, we've got it all.

Already in the collection are seven unnerving games:

Forsaken Prison:
Awaken in a forgotten prison with a cryptic note guiding your escape. Unravel grim discoveries, help a desperate fellow prisoner, and explore dark corridors with secrets waiting to be uncovered. A flashlight leads you to a numbered cell, revealing a nightmarish transformation. Each revelation raises questions about the enigmatic nature of the forsaken prison.

Paul’s Lost Remains:
Wake up to a horrifying scream in the middle of the night. Your friend Paul is missing, and the forest holds a gruesome secret. Can you collect and assemble his remains on a cross in the center of the forest? Test your nerves and challenge your sanity in this short horror game.

Evil Crow:
You are stranded in a rural area with a broken car and no help in sight. In this first-person horror game, you have to explore a barn and a tunnel system, and collect tools. You will also witness a dark ritual involving a pentagram that unleashes a terrifying enemy that will hunt you down.

Haunted Mine:
Haunted Mine is a horror game that puts you in the shoes of a demolition expert who is hired to destroy an old mine. You have no clue who your employer is or what their motive is, but you don't bother to ask. You just want to finish your task and collect your reward. But as you venture deeper into the mine, you discover that something is terribly wrong. The mine is not abandoned. It is alive. And it is watching you.

Terror Gnome:
You, a young child, is sent on a simple task by your mother: gather flowers from the nearby woods. But a terrorizing gnome is causing trouble along the way. Will the child succeed, or will things take a different turn?

Port To Hell:
Port to Hell is an indie first-person shooter-horror game where you play as a scientist who has just completed a teleportation portal. Attempting to teleport to Paris, you find yourself instead in a dark dungeon. The portal you used to enter this realm is now non-functional, leaving you stranded. Face enemies like zombies, hellish dogs, and skeleton spiders as you seek a way back home. Uncover the force behind your misdirected teleportation and fight to survive against overwhelming odds.

Cursed Baby:
Cursed Baby is a first-person horror game that combines eerie exploration with tense survival elements. As a repairman, you’ve been tasked with fixing an old, decaying apartment building, but something sinister lurks in the shadows. The building is haunted, and the cursed baby crawling through its halls will stop at nothing to keep you trapped.

Stay tuned—more nightmares are on the way as our collection continues to grow!
