Why Early Access?

“Hi there, I'm River, the sole developer of Eternal Labyrinth. Because my game is only made by 1 person, it is important for me to get feedback from as many players as possible. At the end of the day, I want to make a fun game for you to play, so hearing what makes the game fun, or even bad at times, is an important step for me to improve. Getting the game in the hands of players as early as possible is extremely important, and I will be committed to listening to feedback and improving all aspects of Eternal Labyrinth throughout Early Access.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“After releasing into Early Access, I hope to fully release Eternal Labyrinth within 1 year. This is a rough estimate and may change depending on overall support from the community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I expect the full version of Eternal Labyrinth to include more complete and polished features in comparison to the current Early Access version, in addition to Steam Achievements and better accessibility features.

My plan, though subject to change, is to release Major Updates every few months throughout early access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Eternal Labyrinth already has a fully functional combat system, weapon and inventory system, procedural generation, and hero/class system. See the 'About This Game' section below for more details.

I have been actively working on the game since March 2024. I want to release into early access as soon as possible to get the community involved in shaping the game.

Various interfaces, icons, animations, etc. are still in early prototyping or work in progress.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Eternal Labyrinth will remain as a pay to play game at the same price once released out of Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I frequently discuss my plans and read through feedback on the Official Discord, Steam forums and while live on Twitch to gauge what the community wants. Even though Eternal Labyrinth is being developed by only one person, I enlist the help of the whole community to make the game as good as it can be.

I highly encourage anyone interested in helping Eternal Labyrinth grow to join the Discord.”

Enter a dungeon, find a portal, escape with your life. No two runs will be the same, will you survive?

HIRE INTERESTING HEROES

Hire heroes and level up heroes of different classes to customize your playstyle. Be careful though, if a hero succumbs to the dungeon, he will be gone forever!

FIND POWERFUL WEAPONS

Dive into each dungeon with a goal of getting stronger! Those lucky enough to survive will be rewarded with a large arsenal of weapons, some may even be cursed...
