“If I had to boil this list down to just one game to keep an eye on out of Gamescom, it would be All Will Rise.”

“All Will Rise channels Ace Attorney, Disco Elysium and Slay the Spire in a courtroom card battle to save the planet”

About This Game

Corporations and political elites are driving the world into the ground. But ordinary people give them power, and ordinary people can take it away.

Welcome to Muziris, a speculative city in Kerala, South India. The city’s river is dead, and on fire.

You are Kuyili, a lawyer and climate activist who delights in turning obstacles into wild and weird possibilities. You and your ragtag team of volunteers want to do the impossible: take the Vice President of a powerful multinational conglomerate to court for the river’s murder.

Your team’s time, money and energy are limited. Sometimes you can’t stand each other. But they - and you - are resourceful.

Win the trust of various bickering factions to gain evidence and allies for the looming court case. Every choice is a risk – and could have unexpected consequences. How far will you go to convince a grieving parent to testify? Will you make a deal with a corrupt politician’s even more corrupt opponent? Pass information to the local ecoterrorist group, despite their violent methods?

Send your team on missions and make choices to unlock cards. Decide which leads to pursue with your limited time. Build a powerful deck of evidence and strategies that reflect your playstyle. Inspire your teammates – or risk burning them out. And make sure to choose the right person for the job.

Turn potential enemies into allies in card-based conversational battles. Build arguments – or connections. Charm and persuade, or intimidate and manipulate. Harness your anger, or charge your powers with joy. It’s up to you.

Get wild, get even, and win the case.
