Why Early Access?

“Relentless Expanse is being made by a very small team, so we want to be able to get feedback from players while we continue to develop the game. The list will probably change, but throughout the playtest period and after the initial Early Access release we plan on adding Trade, Diplomacy, Steam Achievements, AI improvements, additional customizable options, and more, all with the help of feedback from players!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“A rough estimate might be 6-12 months, but it could be either longer or shorter depending on how we adjust the scope of the game based on community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Plans may change, but we're hoping to add Trade, Diplomacy, Steam Achievements, AI improvements, additional customizable options, and a few other things that we want to keep secret for now.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game's core mechanics are implemented, however there is a lack of polish and there will likely be some bugs. Please refer to the "About This" section for a full list of the current game mechanics!”

About This Game

Capture and upgrade planets, outsmart your enemies, and conquer the galaxy! Simple yet addicting, you can play alone or outsmart your friends in this 2D top-down space RTS. Completely free, no monetization, just fun!

Relentless Expanse was made by a small team to gain experience, we don't care about money, we just want you to have fun! 

The goal of the game is to send your ships to capture other planets and defeat every other enemy in the galaxy. Upgrade your planets using energy to make them more powerful, and strategically outsmart your enemies with your superior tactics!
