Why Early Access?

“The game still has some features that need to be implemented, and could greatly benefit from player feedback for balancing new features and/or adding new ones. Our goal is to build a game with players so that we can create the best version of the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access will have only about half of the planned content. There are plans to add:
  • More playable classes
  • More enemies
  • More rooms

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently players can:
  • Play as a wizard class
  • Defeat the final boss
  • Fight 6 unique enemies
  • Traverse 8 rooms from a pool of 12
”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. Since the current features are only about 50% of our planned game, our Early Access will be roughly 50% of the planned price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players will be able to open support tickets on our Discord for bugs as well as submit ideas they have to improve the game. We will do our best to check any other places people may be discussing the game, such as Steam Discussions and Reddit.”

About This Game

Breeding Grounds is an old school style dungeon crawler. The goal is to progress through various rooms and eventually defeat the final boss, the source of all monsters. You must be quick however, as the miasma leaking from monsters will cause constant damage to your health. You will be able to play as a few different classes, each with their own set of bonuses and drawbacks.

Current Features

Since this is an early access title, there are some features that are not yet available. What we have currently available is listed below:

  • Playable mage class

  • Final boss

  • 6 unique enemies

  • 10 randomly selected rooms
