About This Game

The Liquid Jet

is the new dreamy adventure by Sad Mask Party, the twisted brains behind other twisted and brain-melting games such as Mango, The Lotus Holidays and GLITCH DADDY.

The Story

You play as Mae, a young-adult girl, who along with her group of girlfriends, decides to attend a warehouse rave party in the forest, on the first anniversary of the passing of their dear former friend Laurie, as a way to honor her memory.

After the girls attend the rave, Mae goes on to experience an intense bad trip, forcing her to abruptly leave the dancefloor, as well as her friends. Then, she is left to explore the warehouse, getting deeper and deeper inside what morphs to be a liminal dreamscape where she is left all alone, except for visions of her dead friend Laurie (and maybe some weird spooky creatures as well...).

Will you manage to help her find a way out and wake up, or will you witness her descent into a dream that lasts forever?

The Liquid Jet

features a slimy, grainy PSX-inspired look and is drenched in atmospheric nostalgia, along with dreamy psychedelia.

It aspires to be a story that will equally comfort and challenge you, move you, scare you, and most importantly, weird you out. The visuals, sound and storytelling are designed to mess with your feelings, as much as with your brain.

The Gameplay

features exploration, interactive dialogue, light puzzles, as well as occasional action sequences and/or combat. Also, multiple endings based on your choices.
