“We are releasing the game as Early Access to ensure that our players can start having fun as soon as possible. We also want to improve the game with feedback and suggestions from our players. We aim to walk this path together with our players so that the game reaches a much better state by the end.”

“Our plan is to release the full game within 2 months. This timeframe is the period we've decided on to add all the features we initially planned and to make the game better.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more backrooms themed liminal spaces to the full version of Liminal Shift. We also anticipate that the final version will be more polished and better designed.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We worked hard to ensure the Early Access version of Liminal Shift offers a satisfying amount of content. There are many rooms to explore, complete gameplay loops, and a selection of endings. We plan to add new liminal spaces, each with unique designs and mysteries.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“When the full version is released, the price will increase. We want to thank the players who have supported us from day one by keeping the price more affordable. Thank you very much!”

“We listen to every piece of feedback from players. We discuss the game with our players on our official Discord server. Players can provide feedback and suggestions through our Discord server. Since we are launching Early Access, we expect our players to report any bugs and share great ideas that will shape the game. We want to develop the game together with our players.”

Liminal Shift takes a contemplative approach to the inception of the Backrooms narrative. It begins in a restful home, but soon, you find yourself within the liminal expanse of the Backrooms universe. This is not just another game about liminal spaces. Liminal Shift offers a plenty of original Backrooms levels to explore, each interpreted through art to evoke a unique sense of tension, realism, and the feeling of being lost in liminal spaces. Will you manage to escape the Backrooms? Or could it be that life within the Backrooms is more peaceful than your normal existence?

Note: Liminal Shift features unsettling enclosed spaces and themes of getting lost in liminal environments, which may cause distress for players with claustrophobia or a fear of disorientation.
