Why Early Access?

“We chose early access to allow players to experience Planet Finder while we continue developing the game.

We want to ensure that the evolution of the game aligns with the expectations and desires of players, providing a richer and more engaging experience.

We are excited to hear the community's suggestions and ideas as we work to create an even more amazing universe of exploration.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“In addition to community feedback that may generate new ideas for the game, we are also working on other features and evaluating whether they will be included.

We believe that in about 3 to 4 months, we will be able to finalize all the new features. However, regardless of the early access period, we will remain open to new ideas from the community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Over the next weeks, we will try to implement some small missions in the game that can randomly appear on some of the planets that have already been discovered.

We are also considering introducing some kind of resource that players would need to collect in order to keep their ship running. Additionally, we are testing different types of radars to help players locate planets that are farther away.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game currently has 20 planets to be discovered, with one achievement for each planet.
The player starts on Earth and roams through space in search of these planets.
Upon discovering a planet, a text box appears on the screen for the player to name it.
Each discovered planet's name is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.
The game is fully operable with a keyboard and partially with a controller; a PS4 controller was used during testing, the controller does not start or end the game, it only controls the spaceship.
The scenery represents space, which is generated automatically each time the player starts the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, we intend to keep the price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are committed to maintaining an open and active dialogue with the community to understand which features players want to see in the game.

We will be attentive to any comments and suggestions that arise, ensuring that the community feels like a part of the development process.

We want everyone to have the opportunity to help shape Planet Finder into an experience that everyone can enjoy.”
