What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Offering Abducted: The Night Hunters as an early access game allows me to invite the community to actively participate in its development and evolution. The game has reached a playable and satisfying state regarding mechanics, graphics, and initial narrative, but the goal is to expand and further refine the experience.

Early access enables me to improve the game based on player feedback, test new features, and adjust the balance of difficulty, resources, and story. It’s also an excellent way to identify and fix issues with community support, creating a much more polished final version. In short, early access provides a unique opportunity to build a more robust and engaging game with direct input from players, who can immerse themselves in this alien survival horror experience from the very beginning.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Abducted: The Night Hunters is expected to remain in early access until around late 2025. My primary goal is to complete the open-world map of Canela County, with all areas fully explorable and finalized. While the main mechanics are already solid, this early access period allows for expanding the game content, ensuring players experience the game in its entirety by the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The finished version of Abducted: The Night Hunters will be an open-world game across all of Canela County. However, as development progresses, the game world will be released in parts called scenarios. Each scenario will expand the game world, introducing new challenges, enemies, and resources to enrich the survival and exploration experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Abducted: The Night Hunters currently includes the game’s introduction and the first playable scenario. The introduction allows players to experience the initial moments of the alien invasion and doubles as a tutorial, introducing core gameplay mechanics while setting up the story. The first scenario, called Canela Countryside, is ready to play and offers a survival experience where players must face the Grays and other enemies in an open environment. This scenario includes exploration, resource management, and combat, providing a complete and challenging experience within a contained section of the final game world”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of Abducted: The Night Hunters will likely increase after Early Access. During this phase, players are supporting the game's development, and the current price reflects this early opportunity to experience and contribute to its growth. As more scenarios, content, and features are added in the final version, the game’s value will increase, which will be reflected in its final price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to involve the community in Abducted: The Night Hunters development in several ways to ensure player feedback actively contributes to the game’s growth:

Surveys and Feedback Channels: I’ll conduct regular surveys and maintain open feedback channels. Player opinions on difficulty, atmosphere, and gameplay mechanics will be essential for improvements.

Development Updates: I will post frequent development updates to showcase progress on new scenarios, mechanics, and content, allowing players to see the game’s evolution and contribute ideas or suggestions.

Forums and Social Media: I’ll be active on discussion forums and social media, creating spaces for players to discuss ideas, ask questions, and engage in conversations about the game.

Community Playtest Events: Before releasing new scenarios or mechanics, I’ll organize playtest events to allow the community to experience changes before their official launch and share feedback.”

About This Game

Abducted: The Night Hunters plunges players into a suspenseful world devastated by an alien invasion. Set in Canela County, where sprawling fields, abandoned farms, and deserted homes serve as the last refuge for a few remaining survivors, you’ll take on the role of one of three unique characters, each facing the unyielding threat of The Grays. These relentless alien entities patrol the rural landscape, hunting for the last humans left on Earth.

With each playthrough, the experience shifts: enemies and resources are dynamically randomized, creating an evolving challenge for survival. Traverse the open countryside and scavenge every nook and cranny for food, weapons, and documents that shed light on the origins and impact of the invasion.

Key Features:

  • Survive Canela County: As night falls, The Grays emerge on their hunt. Explore the eerie open world and immerse yourself in an oppressive atmosphere where any sound could mean impending danger. Encounter alien forces and face tough decisions—run, hide, or fight.

  • Resource Management: Keep an eye on your hunger, thirst, and fatigue levels. Physical stamina depletes as you run, jump, or engage in melee attacks. Keep moving but conserve your energy for when it truly matters.

  • Exploration and Scavenging: Resources are randomly located across each game. Search houses, furnishings, and abandoned structures to find essentials like food, water, medicine, and weapons for your survival.

  • Limited Weaponry: Melee weapons are common, but firearms are rare—and ammunition even scarcer. Every bullet is precious, and every encounter requires caution.

  • Vehicles: Some vehicles are still operational despite the solar storms that ravaged Earth before the invasion. Use them to navigate Canela County and escape dangerous situations, but be mindful of fuel—a valuable and limited resource.

  • Night Hunt Mode: Take on the ultimate challenge: survive a never-ending night as long as possible. How long can you hold out?

Abducted: The Night Hunters delivers a brutal survival experience designed for players seeking an authentic challenge where each choice counts, and every resource is a lifeline. Confront the horrors of an alien invasion, uncover Canela County’s secrets, and fight to survive one more day in a world with no mercy.
