What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The Adventurer's Domain Online will spend a period of time in early access. This will give us an opportunity to see how players interact with the game, each other and continue to shape the development of TADO as it heads towards full release.

Early Access also give us an opportunity to open the doors to a group of players who are happy to experience the almost inevitable growing pains of launching a shared online world and who want to be a part of the journey.

We expect player's feedback, interactions with the world and each other to steer the way on making TADO the best experience it can be.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“At Early Access Launch TADO will have had more then two years of active development, the aim will be to leave Early Access within a year of it starting. The first three months will be dedicated to stability, optimisation and polishing of the initial release content. The later nine are scheduled to be focused on expanding and broadening the content based on community response.

This of course is not said with great certainty, game development can often be long and drawn out and its possible TADO will spend longer in Early Access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access launch will have a full feature set as advertised in the "About this Game" section below, though many of the systems will not be as expansive as they will be at launch.

There will also be more content available at launch than the start of Early Access, whilst some of main questline and majority of core activities will be available at the beginning of Early Access, the amount of side quests and variety of "off the beaten path" activities will grow throughout.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current build is fully playable, you can quest, fight, sail and interact with other players as well as progress, though not finish, through the main story.

There's enough content to jump in an play for many hours, particularly if you're the kind of player who likes to explore or interact with other players. That said, if you're the kind of person who only wants to blitz through the core questline and be done, there may not be enough content for you at the start of Early Access to hold you for many hours.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“TADO may increase in price at full launch, this will be reviewed throughout the Early Access. All players who create characters during Early Access will also be recognised with unique in-game cosmetic items for their characters.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As TADO goes into Early Access the community Discord will provide a place for players to interact, provide feedback and shape the full release.

There's a lot of differing opinions on what makes a good online RPG, and TADO probably won't be for a forever game for everyone, but we will listen and we will continue to push towards making the TADO as good as it can be.”

About This Game

Key Features

TADO features a large shared online world with solo and group content along with third-person action combat. TADO has classless progression system, as you level you gain skill points you can spend to gain access to a wide variety of different skills. Along with combat you can, craft, fish gather and explore both land and sea, and you can do it all together.

Whilst traditional experienced based levelling is important in TADO, you are free to invest the experience you earn in any of the many available statistics giving your character access to different skills, equipment and crafting opportunities.

Want to wield a great sword and cast dark magic? Specialize in the Occult along with Great Weapon fighting and crush your enemies with your power. Perhaps you're more the protector, preferring to keep their friends safe with your heavy armour and shield? Invest your skills into the Protection and Heavy Armour and keep your body between your enemies and those that would harm your friends. Maybe you don't know what you want to be and you just found a rare skill gem that allows you to shapeshift into a great bear to crush your enemies? Well spend your saved points in Druidism, equip your new ability and get right to it!

TADO also offers other more peaceful ways to earn coin and experience including transporting goods, gathering, crafting or even fishing.

TADO features a naval system allowing you to acquire ships and sail the world (with a crew of friends if you have one!) be you a trader buying and selling goods to earn that extra coin or a mighty hunter seeking rare sea creatures for the epic treasures. Playing through the story will see you setup with your first ship and sailing between various locations in the world in no time.

PvP experiences are available and optional, including event based activities you can sign up for and compete for valuable rewards.

TADO isn’t another aimless open world game that just drops you in the open and sends you about your business, there is a core story which you can play through at your own pace, introducing you into the world and setting you up as an adventurer before you make your own mark on the world.

TADO features plenty of solo-friendly content along with some harder dungeons and zones which will require you to bring your party or guild to overcome.

TADO isn’t a huge high budget game with all the edges shaven off in the name of homogeneous balance or maximum engagement, it’s not trying to be. If you’re looking for a place to chill out exploring, crafting rare items, digging up buried treasure, or hitting the seas in search of adventure then look no further.

Your Adventure awaits.
