Why Early Access?

“Catrophy Trail is currently being released as Early Access because it is not yet complete. While the game is already fun to play, we have a lot more content and features planned for the final version. We wanted to get the game into the hands of players as soon as possible so that they can enjoy it and provide feedback that will help us make it even better. As a result, the game is considered to be in an early stage of development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We have a plan to keep Catrophy Trail in Early Access for the next year. Our goal is to add at many more worlds to the game during this time, as well as implement a number of new features that have been requested by the community. We value their feedback and suggestions, and we are working hard to incorporate as many of them as possible.

We believe that the addition of these new worlds and features will greatly enhance the overall experience of Catrophy Trail, and we can't wait for players to get their hands on them. We appreciate the support of our community as we work towards fully releasing Catrophy Trail.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version of Catrophy Trail, we have several plans to improve the game. We intend to refine the controls and physical interactions within the environment, as well as optimize the performance to support a wider range of devices. We also plan to add controller support and improve the networking to allow for more players in a single lobby.

In terms of content, we have some exciting plans in store. We plan to add several new worlds with unique biomes and puzzles, and significantly increase the role of NPCs within the world. We also plan to add more depth to the Catrophy Trail universe and expand the cosmetics and skin customizer systems. Additionally, we plan to introduce new mechanics like farming and cooking, and eventually implement a customizable home for players in their home town.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Catrophy Trail currently offers players a single world filled with challenging puzzles, exciting activities, and plenty of loot to discover. The player character is fully functional and offers a thrilling gameplay experience that is easy to pick up and play. There are currently two tiers of wagons and three tiers of homes for players to enjoy, along with some functional wildlife, mechanical contraptions, shops, and more. Multiplayer support is also available, and has been tested to work with up to 8 players.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price is expected to increase for the final release to reflect the content and features that will be implemented during Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Catrophy Trail has the potential to offer players a huge variety of fun content and side challenges. We have already received great ideas from our community through playtesting, and we are always open to hearing more.

Catrophy Trail is designed to be a fun party game for friends to enjoy together, and we are committed to creating a world that facilitates this. We view this game as a collaboration between us and the players, and we are dedicated to creating a game that everyone will enjoy.
