• Emblems: Sunless Vow is a Turn-Based (Roguelite) RPG / Visual Novel.

Help three unlikely friends destroy the void—before they destroy each other!

New allies Weapon, Spirit, and Magic have some big tasks ahead of them. Recover their stolen memories, defeat an ancient demon or two, and escape from the dreaded void between worlds... Assuming they can stop arguing first, that is.

As stakes rise, and memories slowly return, will their once-forgotten feelings break them?

Emblems: Sunless Vow is a turn-based RPG designed to reduce decision-paralysis, allow short bursts of play, and offer an evolving stream of challenges as its story unfolds.

The battles of this forsaken void require each character to put their soul into it—literally! Control three types of souls in a type-triangle combat system that rewards calculated risk. All damage can be predicted and accounted for.

Allow or remove RNG with Story Mode's various settings, including difficulty. Take a Story-Only cruise, or heat things up with up to eight Tribulations.

Mystery + Drama + Comedy

Weapon and Magic remember nothing, as they wake in an unforgiving void where vengeful souls haunt every corner. A mysterious guide named Spirit appears just in time to save them. But doesn't he know a little too much? And just what is with that outfit...?

Shenanigans abound in this novella-length drama that loves each of its characters, who also love each other. Eventually

But wait! It's a Roguelite too!

Take your time with the carefully-balanced maps in Story Mode, and enjoy an emotional tale with a roguelite progression system. Or take your chances with the ever-shifting void—in procedurally-generated Chaos Mode!

Lost in the twists and turns of a voidrift, you'll face new enemy tactics, stack over 70 passive Buffs, and utilize special Promotions to give form to your ideal build.

But be warned: even greater foes lurk in these depths...

This game was coded/designed/composed for by Ikiru, and written/drawn/animated by Tonic. (The only others involved were our wonderful partial-voice-actors!)

Suffice to say, the two of us have worn a lot of hats over the past few years; we are so happy to finally share these hand-painted artworks, dynamic character animations, carefully-crafted battles, and a hauntingly epic soundtrack.
