Why Early Access?

“Early Access offers me the opportunity to shape our cooperative Viking-themed cooking game alongside my community. My aim is to provide a game that allows players quick, fun sessions with friends. While the core gameplay mechanics are established, I want to refine the nuances and ensure the game delivers a smooth and enjoyable experience. By involving my players in this phase, I believe I can better tailor the game to meet my community’s desires and expectations.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to conclude the Early Access phase by the Q2 of 2024 at the latest. During this time, my primary focus will be on polishing the game. My top priority is to continuously enhance the player experience by listening to and incorporating feedback from my community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version, players can expect more levels, recipes. While the foundational game mechanics will be solidified in the Early Access version, I aim to build upon this by introducing further content to enrich the playing experience. This might include new scenarios, special cooking tools, and perhaps even some unexpected twists that contribute to the game’s laid-back yet challenging atmosphere. As always, community feedback will play a pivotal role in shaping the game's evolution leading up to its final release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of our Early Access version provides a solid foundation of our Viking-themed cooperative cooking game. Players can experience the core mechanics and engage in a selection of levels and recipes. I've taken care to ensure it offers a good representation of the intended gameplay experience, even as I plan to introduce more content and refinements based on feedback throughout the Early Access phase.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is invaluable to the development process. I have set up platforms on both Steam and Discord where players can submit feedback, suggestions, and report issues. All feedback will be collected and organized by me, and while I might not be able to incorporate every piece of feedback directly into the game, I'll be using it to guide the development decisions and ensure that the game aligns well with what the players are looking for. It’s important to me that my community feels heard and engaged in the evolution of the game.”
