Reviews

“The third Point'n Click from this studio, ‘Magret et Facedebouc’ is once again a real tribute to this genre, which unfortunately isn't represented very much any more. And 100% in French, please! It's an explosive cocktail of puzzles, strong humour and references galore... The game gave me a real Point'n Click kick, and for me that's a big YES!”

“Magret & FaceDeBouc is a wacky new title straight from the imagination of Adipson Studio, whose artistic flair I particularly like. Although it's also a point'n'click game, it's a radically different experience from Grandma Badass, less convoluted but better written, with plenty of puns, references and breaking of the fourth wall.”

“As you can see from my review, this game is a real favourite with me! I loved it from start to finish. The humour and art direction are exceptional. It's a high-quality offering that deserves maximum recognition. Go for it with your eyes closed, you won't be disappointed!”

About This Game

Magret and FaceDeBouc - "The buddy-buddy case"

Discover the pilot episode of a potential point-and-click adventure game series that will keep you entertained for hours on end!

Step into the shoes of an extraordinary detective duo and journey through a captivating and humorous cartoon universe. Inspector Magret, a distinguished and upright green-necked duck, is forced to team up with Inspector FaceDeBouc, a goat with a radically different temperament. Captain of Police, Mr. Hishiro, compels them to cooperate on the investigation of the murder of Mr. Couane, a local merchant who was found in the early morning, sliced into sausages and various pieces of charcuterie in his café...

A game in the pure tradition of point-and-click adventures, with a nostalgic 90s old-school atmosphere in a timeless cartoon world. Solve puzzles, find clues, interrogate suspects, carry out arrests, and conduct interrogations at the police station. Explore all the crime-related locations in a sprawling city and enjoy the dark, caustic, and zany humor that has made Adipson Studio's games a success.

This pilot episode offers the genesis of possible future investigations and introduces you to all the key characters in the saga, including a scene where the two inspectors meet, the introduction of recurring characters such as Captain Hishiro, Landroch the geek panda, and Mr. Corbillot, the forensic vulture.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

The game is considered mature because it contains some vulgar language.
It also contains elements of mutilated bodies in a cartoonish style, which may offend the sensibilities of younger players.
There are also graphic representations on the ground of vomit, animal disfigurement, cut-up body parts and murdered characters.
