About This Game

Reunite with your favorite succubi once again in Sakura Succubus 9, the continuation of the popular visual novel series.

Out of the blue, Ayu receives an invitation to perform in a joint concert with the legendary idol Mihama Shizuru. Shizuru was hugely successful almost a decade ago, but retired from the world of idols and now she's past her prime.

Shizuru has just turned forty, but she still boasts a rabid fanbase. Determined to capitalize on Shizuru's success and introduce her to a new generation of idol fans, Ayu's management contrives to have Ayu and Shizuru take to the stage together in Astoria.

The internet is soon awash with excitement, but Ayu is less than enthused. Stubborn and selfish, Ayu doesn't want to share the stage with anybody: least of all a washed-up has-been like Shizuru.

Hiroki accompanies Ayu to Astoria alongside Hifumi, Cosmos, and Alice in the hopes of cheering Ayu on, but he's starting to worry his efforts will be for nothing.

Will Ayu's concert with Shizuru be a success - and who's this mysterious woman Hiroki runs into who seems so interested in him?

Hiroki's life is only set to get harder, and Ayu isn't making things any easier!

Ayu is an idol who's beloved by her legions of fan across Japan and beyond. With her cute, chipper personality and her penchant for dressing all in pink, Ayu has a reputation for being a sweet, kind girl who's eternally grateful to her audience...

But this couldn't be further from the truth.

The real Ayu is grumpy, bitter, and vindictive. She hates the thought of sharing the spotlight with anybody, and she hates Shizuru for trying to upstage her.

Will their concert really go according to plan...?

Hifumi is a calm, mild-mannered woman who's made a name for herself in the showbiz industry. As an esteemed actress with over a decade of experience under her obi, Hifumi is highly respected as a hard worker who succeeds in everything she sets her mind to.

Hifumi joins Hiroki and Ayu in their trip to Astoria both to offer moral support, and to give Stephania some further instruction in the art of karuta. As an ardent player of the game, Hifumi needs to keep her skills sharp if she doesn't want to relinquish her title as queen of karuta.

Stephania is the princess of Astoria, with a string of middle names which are so long even she sometimes forgets them.

Stephania is a polite and mild-mannered girl who, despite being royalty, is incredibly humble. She frets about being a good hostess and she's determined to act as Ayu's cheerleader in her upcoming concert.

Though Stephania might appear regal, she's actually a huge otaku and a lover of all things Japanese. She has a secret passion for romance manga, but she tries to keep that under wraps for fear of being teased.

Elizabeth is Stephania's devoted maid. Loyal to an almost scary degree, Elizabeth is prepared to do anything to ensure that Stephania will be safe.

Typically, Hiroki tries to stay out of her way. Elizabeth's stares are icy cold, and if looks could kill, Hiroki fears he'd be dead several times over for daring to hold Stephania's hand.

Mihama Shizuru is an idol who was very popular almost a decade ago. She debuted while she was still a teenager, and she soon exploded in popularity. Shizuru sang and danced as a solo act until she was almost thirty, by which point she decided to bow out to let other, younger idols shine.

Shizuru has no particular interest in making waves in the world of idols, having already proved herself. She seems rather interested in Ayu, however. Could she be plotting something...?
