“Whilst I am committed to bringing the full concept of The Schism, I feel like it is important to get the game out as early as possible in order to receive reviews and information to better inform future development decisions, find bugs, and gain ideas for future content.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I hope to be able to put the full release of the game out after 6 months of early access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan on adding significantly more content, such as new maps, monsters and equipment, as well as patches and bug fixes, to try to bring the game to it's finished state.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game currently has some bugs and issues, and has a reduced amount of content compared to my plan for the game after early access. The current build provides players with tasks to complete and multiple randomly selected enemies and encounters, offering plenty of replay ability.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will be reduced for early access, and is likely to increase for full release, however we plan on numerous generous sales.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I would like the community to report bugs on any ideas for future content and development. I will be frequently looking through the steam reviews section.”

About This Game

There has been a rift created between realities, and they're calling it "The Schism". The Schism is a 1-5 player online cooperative horror game, where you and your team of scientists must gather useful intel to aid the governments containment plan. Your team will enter compromised locations, and set about your tasks to collect critical information. But beware, your not alone.

Survival

The Schism features immersive survival mechanics. As your fear increases, an ever growing amount of danger follows in your wake, with immersive hallucinations. Stay alive by keeping calm using a variety of special objects.

Replayability

Using unpredictable AI, The Schism ensures that each playthrough is unique. This is not a game you play once and throw away. The Schism can offer endless enjoyment with your friends.

Environments

There are highly immersive detailed environments with stunning graphical fidelity. The list of environments you can play in is constantly increasing.

Multiplayer

Experience the game with up to 4 other friends! Not only will teamwork increase your chances, there is nothing more comical than the hysterics of a friends unfortunate demise.

Plans

There are massive plans for The Schism. New monsters, maps, and tasks. If you can name it, we've planned it. You can be rest assured, of your investment to this game, as new content will be fundamental. If you have any ideas for new additions however, please reach out in the steam reviews section.
