Why Early Access?

“We consider game balance essential to this title. To achieve even slightly better balance, we wanted as many players as possible to experience the game from its early stages and provide feedback. Additionally, as a small team, we know we need more support to reach our ideal. Together with those who "once loved RPGs," we aim to create the best game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate it will take over a year to reach what we would confidently call "complete." However, we plan to improve the game through multiple major updates over that period.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Key Unimplemented Features Include:

- Deeper floors (beyond Floor 6, including additional monsters, events, etc.)- The ability to switch party members during exploration;
- A feature to ○○ the last party that was wiped out;
- The abilit;y to increase difficulty for the second and subsequent playthroughs
- Item/Monster Encyclopedia;
- Achievements;
- Numerous unimplemented "Power-Ups";
- Numerous unimplemented "Events";
- Additional features for extended, repeatable play are also under consideration.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“- At present, we consider the game 20-30% complete and eagerly await feedback.
- Please note that with future updates, some or all of your saved data may not carry over as needed.
- In this Early Access version, monsters, events, items, and accessible floors are limited compared to the final version. Additionally, some features like the encyclopedia remain unimplemented.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

About This Game

A classic RPG playable in just 15 minutes per round!

"Wizlite" is a nostalgic yet fresh RPG that combines classic command battles with popular roguelite mechanics. Experience a familiar thrill as you battle and unlock treasure chests, carefully monitor remaining health and spell counts, and decide whether to push forward or take a break. Enjoy the classic "Wizardry"-like tension, enhanced by the brisk pace unique to roguelites.

How to Play

  • Start with character creation! Choose a race, like Human or Elf, allocate bonus points to parameters, select a class, personality, and finally, a name. Is it tedious? Don't worry, we have default characters ready for you.

  • Assemble a party of up to six characters and begin your adventure! Or at least, initially, you're limited in party size. Repeated play unlocks various "Power-Ups," gradually expanding what you can do.

  • The dungeon comprises multiple floors, with your party working its way to the bottom, where the final boss resides. You can choose your next move from three cards on each floor... though you won't always have the card you want in the options.

  • If all party members become incapacitated, it's game over. As a roguelite, a full wipe means a total reset...all characters' levels revert to 1, and any equipment collected is lost. However, some power-ups and special events provide slight advantages...

Prologue

At last, the group found their objective—a worn-out facility. The metal plate lying on the entrance floor, likely once a sign, was heavily rusted, with some words barely readable.

"Y●u've formed a party and are ready to e●plore a dungeon swarming with mo●● ers. Def●at the dragon dw●●lling in the deepest floor."

"Disgusting. This is really supposed to be the best game?" someone remarks.

"Old or not, it's the oldest. If you keep saying that....."

"Let's go already! That's what we came for."

"I only came because you forced me..."
