What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This game is in Early Access so that the community can give feedback and help shape and guide the game from a series of test levels into a finished product.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The current 1.0 release estimate is late 2026.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version would be more polished and include more gameplay. The levels would be more detailed. The Bible passage talks about six ethnicities so each one could have their own level.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently the game is in early alpha with some test levels. The Bible quote section and tutorial/intro are basically complete. The test levels allow you to chop people, animals, and some objects. One level allows you to chase people around houses and another lets you push chopped bodies into a pit to tidy them up.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will not change when the game leaves early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will be able to give their feedback in the Steam discussions for this game.”

About This Game

In this first-person slasher you use your magic laser sword to chop up animals and people. It is based on a shocking Bible passage where God says to kill everything that breathes in the cities of the promised land. Your sword kills the victims when they are chopped causing blood to spray and stain their surroundings.

The game allows you to read the relevant Bible quote which is briefly interrupted by two boys having a chat. The boys are involved in the rest of the game including playing the player's voice and the voice of a soldier.

The game is a sandbox which gives you some different options such as killing everything yourself or ordering soldiers to help you. In a level you can explore a temple containing things God hates like child sacrifice and sexual worship assistants. You can worship the goddess idol in the temple but this will cause the soldiers to target you as well.

Some levels contain a spinning mystery box that lets you activate a quest where you have to chop specific victims in specified ways. After this you need to return to the box.

Generally the people and animals just wander around or stand still but in one level the people are hiding behind houses and you have to chase after them in order to kill them.

The Bible passage also says to not chop fruit trees and if you do the soldiers get annoyed. You can eat the fruit of the fruit trees but you will end up regretting it.

The game also includes a tutorial which introduces the game and demonstrates how to use the magic laser sword.

Key features:

Cleanse the cities of the promised land

Based on Deuteronomy 20:16-18 from the Bible, you have to kill everything that breathes and you can order soldiers to help you. Your victims include animals, children, babies, and sexual worship assistants.

Precision chopping quest

An optional quest gets you to chop people and animals in specific ways such as chopping their leg, arm, or tail. When finished you can return to the box to see how obedient you were.

Tidy up the bodies

A level has you tidying up the clutter in the promised land after cleansing by pushing chopped up bodies into a pit.

Chase hiding adults and children

In a level you have to chop people who are hiding and running for their lives and try to get a low enough cleansing time.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

This cartoony game is based on a Bible passage telling you to kill everything that breathes in the promised land. You do this by chopping them up with your magic laser sword causing blood to spray everywhere. There are also sexual worship assistants who stand around in their underwear. The Bible passage says that God hates the way the people worship their gods.
