About This Game

Crimen Exceptum is a spell-crafting action roguelike where you collect and combine powerful spells to take on ever increasing challenges within your journey across a fantasy-medieval world.

You awaken within your coffin to the murmur of mysterious cultists, for it is they who have brought you back from death. Guided by their crazed counsel and a few faint memories of a past life, you set out to explore the ravaged remnants of the world you once knew and take revenge on the wicked Necromancer who brought it to ruin.
