Why Early Access?

“I am going to release it as early access because I don't have the resources to run adequate large scale tests in-house (I'm just one guy!). So I need the help of the community. Plus the community's combined experience in the genre far exceeds mine, so the feedback will be critical to the continued development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will hopefully be in early access for only ~6 months. This will hopefully give me enough time to find, fix, and improve the application to a well rounded and reliable condition. At that point I will remove it from early access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will offer a larger assortment of sound effect, music, and ambiance files. It will contain a handful of additional features which potentially include: an item system, handout system, auto level up, map lighting, and in-game voice chat.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current game state includes the following features:
- encounter map/world map
- character profile
- dungeon master profile
- dice roller
- chat room
- custom tokens
- internet image import
- spell library
- token library
- sound boards (sfx, music)

The current version is fully playable and is adequate for playing a full campaign.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“There will be a small price increase upon final release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I want players to comment and critique on the forums. I will be active and engaged with them so together we can make the application better and better over time.”
